Angra returns to Rock in Rio with Dee Snider and Doro!

For the 30th edition of Rock in Rio, ANGRA returns to the festival to play a concert of their new album “Secret Garden”, and this time bringing two special guests: one of the greatest singers of Rock DEE SNIDER and the Queen of Metal DORO, it will be a very special show. Don’t miss it.

ANGRA will play at the Sunset Stage on September 19th, same day that Metallica will be the headliner.

Dee Snider
ANGRA’s eight album, "Secret Garden", brings us a renewed sound, binding together the maturity of the band’s 23 years on the road and the freshness brought on by their passion of the music they make.

Pre-produced by Roy Z (Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson, Halford) and produced and mixed in Sweden by Jens Bogren (Kreator, Arch Enemy, Opeth), Secret Garden showcases all the elements that have made Angra one of the most important bands in its style, with a contemporary touch and inspired compositions.

The track "Final Light" is the second music video from the new album, and flirts with real and imaginary elements in its dreamy landscape. Directed by Drico Mello, who’s also responsible for the “Angels Cry 20th Anniversary Tour” DVD and the music video for the first single, “Storm of Emotions”, among other very recognized artists, “Final Light” is completely different from everything Angra has made until now, recreating World War II air battles with vintage aircrafts and special digital effects, as seen on movies like Red Tales.

Doro Pesch
The scenes were filmed at the amazing TAM Museum in Brazil, and the entire production, makeup and aesthetics of the video were developed with the idea of having an authentic vintage feel.

Developed in 1935 by the US Air Force, the North American T-6 Texan who is one of the planes used in the clip is a low-wing single-engine, used to train pilots of the US Air Force, US Navy and British Royal Air Force, and other air forces around the world, including Brazil. He served as a training aircraft from World War II until the 1970s and nowadays can be seen in numerous air shows, and static displays around the world.

The immense arsenal of aircrafts in their warehouse was available for the making of the video.
