Voodoopriest shows cover of new album

Brazilian thrashers VOODOOPRIEST have just shown their fans the cover of their first full-length album, "Mandu". The cover art was made by polish artist Raf the Might, who has in his client list important names like Metallica, Slayer, Kreator and others. VOODOOPRIEST’s first record is conceptual and tells the true story of Mandu Ladino, a Brazilian native who resisted to the invasion and killing of the tribes by white colonizers in the Northeastern region in the 18th Century.

Vitor Rodrigues (vocals), Covero (guitar), Renato De Luccas (guitar), Bruno Pompeo (bass) and Edu Nicolini (drums) can’t wait to show the nine songs of their album after the great response from the public at the release of the single Mandu. The title track, released on Indian’s Day in Brazil, is available for free download at the band’s website voodoopriest.com.

"Mandu" was produced by Brendan Duffey and Adriano Daga at Norcal Studios, in Sao Paulo, and will be released online in the beginning of june.
